Auto-renew two months ahead
Your groups will be auto-renewed in Yuzu 2 months before their renewal date. You’ll be notified of their renewal in the portal, and be able to work on any needed group changes well before go-live. If the group is not renewing, please let the Yuzu team know ASAP.
If you need to renew a group even earlier, you can go to the Plan tab and hit “Renew group” up to 3 months in advance.
All relevant information ported over
When Yuzu auto-renews a group, we copy over all relevant group information, including banking, benefits, fees, vendors, and eligibility.
If you need to change benefits, fees, or vendors: Just go to the relevant tab in the renewed group (which will look like it’s in onboarding) and make your changes. You will need to verify your benefits and fees a second time to make sure we’ve captured relevant changes.
If you need to change banking: Go to the banking tab and click on “Change Bank Account.” The employer will need to go through the banking flow again to change their account.
If you need to update eligibility and you do manual eligibility changes (NOT HRIS): There are two options for you.
If eligibility has changed significantly, you can upload a brand new census. Just go to the Upload Employees Tab and click on “Void Enrollment.” That will void all the members on the census we ported over (it will not impact members currently on an active plan). Then just go to verify employees and upload a new census.
If eligibility has only changed slightly, you can go to Verify Employees and remove and add members as needed, just like you would in a live group.
Then you’ll need to Verify employees. Please only do this after you have verified Benefits and Fees.
New SPD Required
Even if there were no changes to the plan or the benefits, the employer will need to sign a new SPD.
Once you’re done, go to the Finalize Tab and hit “Submit for Review” for Yuzu review before finalization.
