RxDC Report

Prescription Drug Data Collection (prescription drugs and health care spending).

What is the RxDC Report?

Under Section 204 (of Title II, Division BB) of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, insurance companies and employer-based health plans must submit information about prescription drugs and health care spending. This data submission is called the RxDC report. The RxDC  report isn't only about prescription drugs; it also collects information about spending on health care services and premium paid by members and employers.

Who submits the RxDC Report?

In our capacity as a TPA, Yuzu Health Insurance Services works with our Pharmacy Benefit Managers to submit the RxDC report. Typically, the PBM will submit most of the information required for the RxDC report, but Yuzu may be asked to submit information for the following fields: P2, D1, and D2.

How can employers, brokers, and plan designers make sure the RxDC Report gets submitted on time?

For timely reporting, Yuzu needs all groups to fill in their Employee Premium Contributions. Without this information, we cannot submit information to the PBM and the responsibility will fall on the employer to submit the RxDC report themselves.

To fill in Employee Premium Contributions, enter the Compliance tab on the portal and click “Complete Form” on the Employee Premium Contributions field.

From there, you can complete the form to report employee monthly premium contributions for each plan.
